    Kienyeji chicken ,also referred to traditional chicken is can be sumptuous if prepared well and with the patience it deserves. Try this recipe today and see the magic that Kuku Kienyeji can be!

    Add chicken to the pan. Set the liver aside and add salt in the pan

    Add the dried rosemary, ginger and water

    Mix well and boil till tender.

    Drain the broth from the chicken and set aside for later

    In a different pan add a tablespoon of oil and onions and fry till golden brown

    Add the tomatoes cook until it softens,add tomato paste then the chicken

    Add back the chicken broth

    Add the liver that was set aside. It is cooked last because it takes a shorter time to cook

    Simmer till liver cooks. Serve and enjoy.
