200g beans pre-boiled Beans
100g maize pre-boiled Maize
3 table spoons Vegetable oil
1 large onion chopped Onion
2 tomatoes chopped Tomatoes
3 cloves of garlic crushed Garlic
1 tsp ginger crushed Ginger
1 cup butternut (Malenge) mushed (slightly boiled) Butter nut
1 cup beef stock or warm water Beef stock
1 green pepper chopped(optional) Green bell pepper
6 potatoes peeled and cut in half Potatoes
1 tsp curry powder Curry powder
salt and pepper to taste Salt

    •In a large cooking pot, fry the onions until cooked (don't let them turn brown). Add the tomatoes, allow cooking for about min or two

    •Add the garlic and ginger, let it cook for a min then add the green pepper, curry powder, beef stock (or warm water), salt and pepper, stir very well for about 2 mins.

    •Add the potatoes, beans, and maize. Then add the mashed butternut, stir then cover to cook.

    •Let it simmer for about 15-20 mins and check the potatoes to have cooked through. *You can add some meat to give it a meaty flavor
